Sunset at the Duffle Door

Landscape Art

Landscapes inspire me to create! When I see a beautiful landscape scene, I feel compelled to capture it and in some cases, deepen my connection with landscape and nature around that location.

My approach to landscape painting is to capture the essence of a scene, not just its appearance. I strive to convey the mood and atmosphere of a place, making the viewer feel as if they are standing there themselves. If you stand there too long, you might just feel like you're part of the scene! Well... that's the hope!

Landscape art is a wonderful way to express the beauty and wonder of the natural world. My goal is to see the world through my artist's eyes and share that vision with others.

The first piece is "Sunset at the Durdle Door and the Steps to the Man O'War Beach" (2024). Created in Dorset, England.

Faaturuma
Arco e il Sogno

Faaturuma's New Vision (2023) & Arco e il Sogno (2022)

"Faaturuma's New Vision" (2023) is a reproduction of the Paul Gauguin painting. "Arco e il Sogno" (2022) is my take on the famous stone garden arch.

Winter Lake (2026) & Seattle Elliot Bay View (2025)

Sometimes the most beautiful scenes are those that capture the essence of a moment in time. A calm lake reflecting the surrounding mountains or a placid harbor filled with the night's lights.
